Are there any difficulties to go other countries?

Cliff: Yes, I need to apply for VISA, and passage permit. This is my VISA and passage permit. You can see my name, my nationality,and even my current address.

Cliff:OH, that's a badge. It is given by the mayor. and it is used to welcome the people who are released from the Weihsien.

It is during the world War two, is there any danger in the Weihsien, and how did you face it?

Cliff: I think it is in 1937. The urgent of British Consul. They told us that Japan might invast. So we need to be aware of that. We did a lot of rehearsal of how to get into the dugout. So that we can avoid from chaos

The Camp is so big. Do you often get lost in it?

Yes, I often got lost at first. It was too big, but after a while, I got used to it.

Most of whom were sent to this camp?

Most of them were Westerners living in China who were sent to this camp. Most of them are missionaries, business people, diplomats, etc.

I saw playgrounds and parks shown on the map. What leisure activities do you usually do?

Playgrounds are mostly places where children go! Most of the adults exercised together in the park and organized religious activities to maintain a positive attitude.

How do people living in a camp manage to stay positive? How do these activities help their mental state and quality of life?

People in the Weixian Concentration Camp stayed active through schools and religious activities, gaining spiritual solace and emotional support.

Will it be inconvenient for you in there? What should you do if you get injured?

It's okay. We have a hospital, library and kitchen. It's actually quite complete.
